Traverse City Michigan Vineyard Wedding

Hannah & Trevor had a Traverse City winery wedding in Northern Michigan. Located on the Leelanau peninsula, the Brengman Brother’s wedding venue has a beautiful vineyard ceremony site and stunning white reception barn. Known as wine country of the midwest, Northern Michigan the perfect location for their destination wedding.

I met Hannah and Trevor over a year ago when I captured their engagement photos. From the moment I met them I could feel how genuine and kind they both are. Because they are so sweet and so filled with the Lord, I simply could not wait for their wedding day.

The Big Day

The big day came around and we had the perfect July weather in Northern Michigan.

Hannah’s bridal look was the perfect blend of chic and boho. She wore a stunning Made With Love wedding dress, classy Sam Edelman heels, and a slicked back low bridal bun designed by The Hair + Beauty Lounge. Meanwhile, Trevor wore a navy suit with leather details.

Waiting to see each other at the aisle, they chose to have a quiet blindfolded prayer before the ceremony. This turned into an emotional, quiet moment.

The ceremony took place under an arch made from old grape vines, and strung with floating flowers installed by Carriage House Floral Design. During the ceremony, they passed their wedding bands through the crowd for their guests to pray over as they exchanged vows.

To end the ceremony, they partook in communion with wine from the Brengman Brothers vineyard. As they exited the aisle, fresh lavender was tossed as confetti and the fresh aroma filled the air.

Their elaborate reception tent was romantic and elegant, with greenery draped everywhere and warm market lights strung. Hannah put on a boho bridal flower crown for the reception to give her a more boho bridal look. At dusk, they wandered off into the vineyards for a few more portraits as husband and wife.
