Grand Teton National Park Elopement

Grace & Tom opted for the experience of a lifetime over a wedding. Their families live thousands of miles apart, and a few significant family members have serious health issues, so when Grace and Tom got engaged they just knew that having a big wedding with all of their family in one place wasn’t an option. Instead, they decided to have a National Park elopement.

The Location

They reached out to me shortly after getting engaged, and they knew they wanted to elope but they had no idea where to go. I shared with them a questionnaire that helps me determine what elopement locations might be the best fit for them, and then I shared with them lots of information on those destinations. Eventually, we landed on the Grand Teton National Park.

They flew to a place neither of them had ever been before and spent a week hiking, horse back riding, s’more roasting, and experiencing a new place together just the two of them. Then one evening around sunset, they started their forever.

The Big Day

⁣One night Grace and Tom ventured out to a quiet river in the Grand Teton National Park. They exchanged their personal vows with only God as their witness. It was so simple and so sincere, just like their personalities. After their intimate riverside vow exchange, they ventured over to Jenny Lake to watch the sun slip beneath the mountains and steal a few more kisses. They finished the night with room service and a campfire at the Rustic Inn in Jackson, in their natural element, soaking everything in.

⁣It was so incredible to watch these two explore such an amazing place. And it was the biggest honor to capture something so intimate and so real.
