Silver Lake Sand Dunes Engagement Photos

When Abby reached out to me about capturing her and Matt’s Michigan sand dunes engagement photos in Silver Lake, I was thrilled!

With Matt being in the military, he had been deployed for a couple of years. Abby and Matt navigated their long-distance relationship, and it only strengthened their love for each other. They quickly knew that they wanted to be together forever, so Matt proposed and she said yes!!

Their chemistry and sense of humor is absolutely contagious. You can see in the photos below just how much they love to make each other laugh! It was such an honor to capture their engagement photos!

My favorite engagement photo location in all of Michigan is easily the Silver Lake Sand Dunes. It’s always such an adventure, amazing lighting for photos, and the perfect place to watch a beautiful golden hour over Lake Michigan.

I simply love this engagement photo location in Michigan, and I love every chance I get to capture love stories here.

Abby and Matt also did a wonderful job of selecting outfits that complimented their photoshoot location! I always encourage my clients to choose outfits that are comfortable and fit their personalities. In other words, just dress like you would for date night! It’s also good to keep in mind colors and tones that compliment the photoshoot location and surrounds.
