Grand Rapids Michigan Engagement Photos

When Tabatha and Kyle asked me to capture their downtown Grand Rapids engagement photos, I was thrilled! They are two of the classiest people, so I knew this was going to be a good one.

On any given weekend, you’ll find Tabatha and Kyle downtown Grand Rapids enjoying a cocktail. As a Michigan wedding photographer, I always encourage my clients to make their engagement photoshoots personal. In other words, plan your engagement photoshoot around a typical date night. So taking their engagement photos in downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan was the perfect fit for Tabatha and Kyle!

For city engagement photos, I always love getting pictures crossing sidewalks, walking down the streets, and exploring the city! So that’s how we started our night!

Next, we went to my favorite rooftop parking garage in Grand Rapids for sunset photos. Sometimes in the city it can be hard to find a good sunset view, but parking garages are always a great option.

Lastly, we ended their engagement photos at a bar sipping on their drinks of choice: a glass of rosé for Tabatha and an old fashioned for Kyle.

Their classy, formal engagement photo outfits were the perfect vibe. Kyle’s beige suit and white sneakers perfectly paired with Tabatha’s white blazer bridal outfit.

It was such a fun and memorable night, and I’m beyond obsessed with how these photos turned out!
