Leelanau County Michigan Wedding

Jessica and Jake love spending time in Glen Arbor, Michigan. Their summers are spent at the lake, hunting for beach glass, and soaking up the sun. Naturally, they knew they wanted to have a Northern Michigan beach wedding! They chose to take their family and friends to their favorite place to start their forever.

On a perfect August day, they exchanged vows on the beach of Lake Michigan. Their ceremony was on the beach at The Leelanau School. Waves were crashing and sea gulls were flying around them while they said I Do.

Later, their cocktail hour and reception took place in a cozy forest setting. Stella Luna Events and Sweetwater Floral beautifully curated their summer wedding reception details. The colors and flowers complimented the natural scenery, and everything came together impeccably.

Michigan Beach Wedding

I absolutely love photographing weddings on the shores of Lake Michigan. The perfectly blue water and grassy dunes make for the best photo backdrops, and a sunset on the lake is my favorite way to end a wedding day.

Jessica and Jake not only gave their guests an unforgettable night, but also a memorable weekend. Their guests explored the nearby beach towns of Leland and Glen Arbor, hiked Sleeping Bear Dunes, and enjoyed the beautiful Michigan lakeshore. It was a special weekend for everyone involved, myself included!
