One year ago, I captured Drew & Karrie’s proposal in Acadia National Park. Drew reached out to me with his plans to propose along the cliffs looking over the Atlantic Ocean, then we spent weeks picking the perfect spot and planning ever detail. Eventually, we successfully surprised Karrie with the most perfect engagement! (Check out their engagement photos here!)

On that trip, they fell in love with Maine. It wasn’t long before they knew that they wanted to come back to this place with their closest family and friends to have their National Park intimate wedding.

Intimate Destination Wedding Details

⁣So exactly one year later, we all flew back out to Bar Harbor to celebrate their marriage!

They had their first look at the same exact spot they got engaged in Acadia National Park. It was so sweet and meaningful to them to see each other for the first time on their wedding day in the exact spot they got engaged one year ago.

Then, they shared their vows with their closest family and friends. Their ceremony took place in front of the most amazing backdrop at La Rochelle. Additionally, Floret Maine created a stunning ceremony floral arch.

Later, R.L. Sisson Events and Sweet Pea’s Cafe put together an intimate wine-pairing dinner. So Drew and Karrie ended the day sharing a good food, great wine, and laughter with the people they love most.
