I absolutely love this National Park elopements. If you’ve been to any U.S. National Park, you know how incredible they are. They are some of the most amazing places in our country, and the perfect backdrops for beautiful elopements. So I was thrilled when Cassie & Clayton ditched their ballroom wedding plans and had an Acadia National Park elopement!
The night before their wedding we enjoyed fresh caught lobster with their family and friends at their casual rehearsal dinner. Then the morning of the wedding, their families went out on the kayaks to explore. They spotted seals splashing in the ocean while the bride and groom were getting ready!
We spent the day hiking around Acadia taking pictures with incredible views. Their first look was on top of Cadillac Mountain. Then we did photos are Jordan Pond, as well as Otter Cliffs.
We even had impromptu dance parties on Otter Cliffs while blasting pump up music. Later, they said “I Do” at Otter Point. Then finally, we joined their closest family and friends at a seafood joint in downtown Bar Harbor.
Maine is such a beautiful state. I’m so honored to have been able to travel out there to capture memories for such an incredible couple.
I adore you both! Thanks so much for trusting me to capture this special day and I can’t wait to see how God blesses your marriage!
Are you considering eloping in a US National Park? If yes, I’m so excited for you!! I put together a list of my top National Park elopement locations, check that out here! Additionally, I have a full elopement guide that will walk you through how to plan your elopement from start to finish.
